Methodology
How the data is built.
Listings come from public business records and public web pages. People review the pages, and businesses can claim theirs to keep the facts current.
We say exactly what the data can and cannot show. If you use a GRADELINE number, name GRADELINE as the source and note the date.
What businesses can change
A business can claim its page for free, fix the facts, and add photos. Claimed pages show a verified mark.
What the data can show
The data can show how many businesses are listed, where they are, and what services they offer. It is a directory, not a market study.
What the data cannot show
Listing counts are not the total number of contractors in an area. We do not rank crews or rate their work. A listing is not a license or an insurance promise.
Corrections
- A listed business can claim its page and fix its own facts at any time.
- Anyone can send a correction through our contact page.
- We remove or fix a listing when the facts are wrong or a business asks us to.
